hi hi! I missed my sunday newsletter this week, oops. I was busy filming content in the morning, swimming in the afternoon (my friend rented a pool and it was heaven in this heat) and watching the White Lotus finale at night lol. I try to get a lot of work done on the weekends but sometimes it doesn’t happen and that’s okay!!! how was your weekend? and what did y’all think of the finale?! I feel like there were so many mixes reviews this season. I definitely thought it started kind of slow but I ended up becoming fascinated with the development of the characters and I really loved the ending. curious to hear your thoughts!
ANYWAY — sorry that this recipe is a bit late but I’m finally sharing this fabulous roasted cauliflower with fried dates + garlic yogurt. this side dish is the perfect combination of sweet, salty, creamy + tangy and the flavours work SO well together. I feel like this would be amazing alongside a spiced roasted chicken or even a steak. I actually got inspired for this recipe originally by one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto, Bernhardt’s. they posted a similar roasted cauliflower dish with raisins and I’ve been wanting to add my fried dates to a savoury recipe, so that’s how this came together! I hope you love it as much as I do.
