Happy Wednesday! I just got back from my quick Toronto trip, which was busy but lovely, and I’m settling back into my routine here in LA. I’m mostly catching up on work + recipe testing this week but I can’t wait to drink wine and watch World Cup games on a patio this weekend.

By the way, can we talk about how fun World Cup summer is? I’m obviously such a bandwagon fan and can really get on board with any team now that Canada has been eliminated (sad), but it’s just so fun to see people come together, spend time out and about and get excited about things. That’s what summer is all about!!! Like can we keep partying on random weeknights and cheering in bars after this is all over orrrr…?

missed these sunsets + home cooked meals

Anywho! Today I’m sharing the recipe for my version of the salted honeycomb iced latte that I developed a strong addiction to when I was in Miami. The original latte is from Maman, which I always thought was only in New York but apparently lives in Miami too, and it perfectly blends sweet, salty, creamy + nutty. We don’t have Maman here in LA so I had to make my own version and it turned out absolutely fabulous. It makes a wonderful little afternoon treat and once you have the honey tahini syrup, you can customize your preferred sweetness and make as many salted honeycomb lattes as your heart desires!!! Before we get into the recipe, let’s do some…

WEDNESDAY WORDS

I just needed an image here so this is an outfit I like (tank + the best jeans)
  • I thought this article made some really compelling points about the state of dating right now (as a straight woman) and how much things have shifted in the past few years. Highly recommend reading (and discussing in your group chat)

  • Need this dairy free dark chocolate mousse biblically

  • Speaking of dating, this stat is….really interesting. I was just talking to both my mom and my therapist about this concept and digging into why I genuinely love being single. The question I’ve been considering lately is: is there a middle ground, where I can maintain my career, my independence and my standards while being in a relationship? (I’m sure there is but I haven’t found it lol).

  • I just finished Famesick by Lena Dunham and, like the rest of the world, loved it. It also seems like my sign to finally re-watch Girls.

  • It feels like all I’m being served right now is homemade ice cream and it’s getting to a dire point where I must make some as soon as possible. I might even take a stab at a dairy free version with coconut milk. I have a Ninja Creami but there’s something so satisfying about seeing the ice cream churn into creamy perfection in the Kitchen Aid Mixer ice cream attachment (Kitchen Aid……if you want to hook me up, you know where to find me).

Onto today’s recipe!
