hi hi! how was everyone’s long weekend? I totally forgot that there was a holiday on monday and I loooove an unexpected long weekend. having one extra day makes such a difference! anyway sorry I skipped sunday’s newsletter but I’m (hopefully) making up for it today. hope you all had a great weekend — mine was lovely with some hiking, some swimming and a few really good meals. I’m also doing lots of prep because I’m hosting a dinner party for my birthday next week!!! don’t worry I’ll be sharing a ton of dinner party content — the menu, the planning/prep, the drinks, the desserts. it’s gonna be so fun I cannot wait. I tested the cake over the weekend it was gorg.
in the meantime, I whipped up this super easy spring pasta last weekend and it turned out incredible. we’ve got buttery leeks, thinly sliced asparagus, lots of fresh lemon zest + goat cheese to make it creamy and tangy. this pasta takes 20 minutes to throw together and makes such a perfect weeknight spring dinner. also one thing about me is I really hate peas lol so I will never put them in pasta BUT there’s no asparagus emoji so I had to use the pea one in this email subject. hope you love it!!!
