what I cooked in may 🥗🍓
I now like steak AND tiramisu
Happy (almost) start of summer!!! May was a very busy but very fun and fulfilling month. I moved into my gorgeous new house, went to Miami, ate at some fabulous restaurants and spent as much time in the sun/by a pool as possible. GOD I love summer and being outside and drinking wine on a patio and doing fun things! Sue me!!!
Today I’m sharing recipe links to the best things I cooked + baked in May. My biscoff brownie tiramisu, though not traditional, was obviously a standout (and the first tiramisu recipe that actually made me…like tiramisu). Another highlight was cooking steak for the first time at home which I am proud of (I’ve come a very long way since my vegetarian days).
I actually just bought some steak for the second time ever so I can’t wait to work on another divine steak recipe — I’m thinking something with Asian-style flavours for the next one. Also been really hyper-fixating on savoury breakfast bowls/plates again so it feels like it might be time for another breakfast roundup soon. Anyway, if you need some fun recipe ideas or summer cooking inspo, keep reading! xx

garlic butter steak bite bowls
I’m officially a steak girl, and I find cooking little steak bites (much like my salmon bites) far less intimidating as a newbie. Also shoutout to Japanese sweet potatoes.
biscoff brownie tiramisu
Made with Stellar Eats Fudge Brownies and layers of biscoff cookies and cookie butter-infused cream, this is the only tiramisu I ever want tbh.
protein breakfast plate
Inspired by a breakfast I had at a super cute cafe in Miami, this is so easy to throw together and keeps you energized all morning. And as a side note…Manchego cheese is my new obsession.
roasted broccoli green goddess pasta salad
I loooove a mayo-free pasta salad and this one features tons of gem lettuce and fresh veg, making it more like a refreshing salad with some pasta thrown in for good measure. PERFECTION.
homemade peanut butter raspberry tru fru
Because who wants to keep spending $8 a bag on Tru Fru?! Me, but realistically I can really just make it, and make it even better than the original (bold but TRU claim) (see what I did there?!)
See y’all tomorrow with a brand new recipe!!!!
